The Soshinkan dojo in Tsukuba is dedicated to the training and development of Shinshin Toitsudo ("The Unifying of Body and Mind"), Shinshin Toitsu Aikido ("The Shinshin Toitsudo School of Aikido," also known as "Ki Aikido"), and "Ki", the life force of the universe and all living things. Based these teachings of Koichi Tohei Sensei, Soshinkan was founded by Chief Instructor Rikio Oba and is presently the official branch of the Ki Society and Shinshin Toitsu Aikido for the Ibaraki prefecture.
